Our spa facilities are a very popular retreat for members after a tough work or a round or two of golf. Relax in the Jacuzzi and let the warm water jets gently massage your body while improving circulation and relaxing your muscles. Then why not move onto the dry heat of the sauna to relieve minor aches and pains leaving you feeling invigorated, the steam room is also a great way to heat the body and increase circulation. Within the spa you will alleviate tense muscles and loosen stiff joints, leaving you feeling calm and relaxed.

Swimming Lessons with Ros Kirkpatrick

Ros has been part of the Swimming Teaching staff at Mentmore since 1997 and a qualified instructor for over 20 years. Qualified by the ASA to teach Swimming, Parent & Child Swimming and even Synchronised Swimming, Ros has taught hundreds of people of all ages and abilities to swim.

Available for private lessons on either 1-1 or 1-2 basis, Ros also runs our very popular Parent & Child Classes in groups of up to 12.

Parent & Child

This class is run for children from their second injection at around 4 months old to promote their water confidence and movement through the water. This class gives parents the confidence to take babies swimming and prepares for structured lessons as they get older.

Please Note: The Under 5's session has changed from Monday morning to Thursday 10:00 - 11:00am, please see the new Autumn Timetable available at Club Reception.

Individual Lessons

These lessons cater for all ages and abilities available as 1-1 or 1-2. Ros uses this intensive time to really focus on individual needs, ranging from complete beginners through to stroke development and ultimately to Advanced Swimming. The lessons encompass endurance work, personal survival, racing turns and development up to club level. This individual focus enables faster progression and inspires greater confidence than that achieved through group lessons.
